Workshop to get to know the technology and innovation ecosystem with the aim of developing the knowledge of academic staff members and researchers about the concepts and nature of innovation technology, entrepreneurship and the components that connect them to each other, Sunday, September 12, 1402, was held at the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences.

According to the research institute's public relations report, In this workshop, which was held with the efforts of the vice president of technology of the research institute and with the cooperation of the campus technology park and also with the presence of academic staff members and experts of the research institute; Dr. Mojtabi Jabaripour, Vice President of Innovation Development of Campus Technology Park, gave a speech regarding the policies, structure and planning of Campus Technology Park. 

At the beginning of this training workshop, Dr. Seyyed Masoud Mahmudov, Vice President of Technology of the Research Institute, while thanking Dr. Jabaripour, Engineer Saeedi and Campus Technology Park for holding the training course, called for the development of bilateral cooperation with Campus Technology Park.

At the beginning of his speech, Dr. Jabaripour defined the ecosystem as a set of institutions, structures, organizations and people who interact with each other to help commercialize ideas and technology to achieve wealth creation and said: Academic faculty members are one of the main actors of the ecosystem.

The Vice President of Innovation Development of Pardis Technology Park, referring to the risks associated with starting new businesses based on new technologies, stated that knowledge-based business has a higher risk than traditional business.

He stated: If the commercialization chain process is principled and in accordance with the standard, it will undoubtedly achieve the desired result. He gave the example of thousands of knowledge-based companies that have appeared very successful and brilliant despite the existing problems.

Jabaripour added: Maybe failure is a part of the process in the commercialization of technologies, but reducing the costs of failure is considered very important in this direction.

Campus Technology Park as the most important and largest innovation area in the country, in commercializing the achievements of technologists and creating a suitable platform for the growth of technology and the development of the market of knowledge-based companies.  It has been a pioneer and has played an effective role in the advancement of science and technology in Pardis city and Tehran province  So that this area is considered one of the most prominent centers for the development of startups and knowledge-based companies and the commercialization of technology and innovations in the country.

It should be mentioned that it is expected that the course participants will visit the campus technology park in the coming days.
