A scientific-expert meeting will be held to explain research capacities and strategies in Antarctica

In order to share experiences, exchange scientific information, explain and improve the scientific abilities and capacities of researchers in Antarctic fields, as well as provide strategies to realize the presence of J.A. in Antarctica.  The scientific-specialist meeting entitled "Explaining research capacities and strategies in Antarctica" along with the unveiling of the first book "Journey to Antarctica; Ice continent" by the National Antarctic Research Center, Wednesday, November 10, 1402 hours  It will be held at 10 am.

 

According to the public relations report of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences, this meeting will be held in person at the research institute and virtual with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Reza Shokri and Dr. Samia Nahavandian, Iranian explorers who have experienced research trips to Antarctica and the Arctic, as well as Dr. Morteza Tawakli, the head of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences, and Dr. Hossein Farjami, the head of the National Antarctic Research Center, university professors, students and those interested in this topic.

 

It should be mentioned that in this meeting, Dr. Shokri, a member of the academic staff of Shahid Beheshti University, who had made a research trip to the Antarctic in 1377 on behalf of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences, regarding "Research in Antarctica; opportunities and potentials", Dr. Nahavandian, a member of the academic staff of Tarbiat Modares Noor University, who has traveled to the North Pole as a researcher, will speak about "the importance of the Pole and climate change" and Dr. Hossein Farjami, the head of the National Antarctic Research Center, will speak about "the roadmap for scientific activity in Antarctica". 

 

In another part of this meeting, from the book "Travel to Antarctica; "Ice Continent", the report of the 99-day trip of Dr. Mohammad Reza Shokri, the first Iranian researcher to the Antarctic continent, which was printed and published by the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences, will be unveiled.
