Improving the quality level of research institute laboratories from "active" to "capable"
The quality level of the laboratories of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences was upgraded from "active" to "capable".
According to the research institute's public relations report, based on the evaluation of the laboratory network of strategic technologies of the Vice President for Science and Technology (Labzant), the location of the laboratory complex National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences Upgraded from "active" to "enabled".
According to the research institute's public relations report, Dr. Ali Mehdinia The research assistant of the research institute said about this: The set of laboratories of the research institute has already succeeded in receiving certificates ISO/IEC17025 و HSE From Iran's National Certification Center and Health, Safety and Environmental Management System CertificateHSE–MS) of the company ACM England and after being promoted from the capable level to the active level, now based on the latest Labzent evaluation results of the laboratories' performance, it has been upgraded from the active level to the capable level.
He stated that previously, the laboratories of the research stations in "Chabahar and Nowshahr" cities had succeeded in receiving certificates as accredited laboratories from the Environmental Protection Organization.
Mehdinia added: The set of laboratories of the research institute operate in the fields of chemistry and marine environment, marine biology, marine geology and marine biotechnology and provide a wide range of laboratory services.
The laboratory of the research center works in the field of measuring all kinds of chemical, biological, physical and marine geological oceanography parameters. Organic pollutants, microplastics, natural compounds of the sea, carbonate chemistry, nutrients, granularity, magnetic behavior of sediments, temperature sensors, salinity, pH, chlorophyll, counting and identification of phytoplanktons, zooplanktons, benthic organisms, coral studies are among the parameters measured in the research institute's laboratories.
The set of laboratories of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences is unique in terms of geographical distribution due to its location in Tehran and the cities of Chabahar, Bandar Abbas, Bushehr and Nowshehr, and the possibility of providing services to Applicants with a focus on maritime subjects are welcome.
