Report on the activities of research and technology station (Bushehr) in research week 1402
At the same time as research and technology week, Persian Gulf Research and Technology Station (Bushehr) Organized several scientific, research, educational and promotional programs.
According to the public relations report of the National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences, the details of the programs carried out at this station are as follows:
1-Membership in the Scientific Committee of Research and Technology Week of Bushehr Province
2- Participation in the festival honoring the best researchers and technologists of Bushehr province
3- Active participation in the exhibition of research and technology achievements in Bushehr province
4- Holding 2 scientific workshops with topics:
▪ Seasonal evaluation of water hydrochemistry (nutrients and chlorophyll a) in the Persian Gulf, Dr. Maryam Qaemi, member of the academic staff of Bushehr Center
▪ Evaluation of seasonal changes in water hydrochemistry in the Oman Sea: nutrients and chlorophyll a in coastal and offshore waters, Dr. Hamid Ershadi Far, member of the academic staff of Bushehr Center.
5- Holding oceanic-atmospheric science promotion programs in the form of a student exhibition
6-Student visits and introducing students to the research programs of the research institute
7-Participation in research institute's headquarters programs
8- Submission of activities report for reflection on the website of the research institute
According to this report, the exhibition "Research and Technology Achievements of Executive Bodies and Scientific and Research Centers of Bushehr Province" on the occasion of Research Week with the presence of Persian Gulf Oceanography Center (Bushehr) from December 14 to 15 1402 was held from 9:00 to 16:00 at the Faculty of Petroleum, Gas and Petrochemical Engineering of Persian Gulf University, Bushehr and was welcomed by the interested parties.
In this exhibition, the station (Bushehr) on behalf of the research institute with a dedicated booth, sampling tools and devices, marine-research posters, introduction posters of the research institute and "Persian Gulf Explorer", research projects, publications of the research institute including scientific-research journals, books and entrepreneurial activities of the Bushehr center were displayed.
During this two-day exhibition, the research institute's booth was visited and welcomed by a group of university professors, students of the faculties of basic sciences, engineering, marine sciences and fisheries, personnel and students of the navy, Bushehr Governorate's Civil Deputy and the accompanying delegation, a representative of Bushehr City Council, and some research managers of organizations (Bushehr Municipality, Police Force, Electricity Department and Water and Waste Management Department of Bushehr Province, etc.), students and the general public.
During these visits, the faculty members and experts of Bushehr Station provided the necessary explanations for the introduction of the research institute and its research achievements, as well as a brief description of coastal and marine sampling methods and how to use sampling tools and devices.
Also, explanations were given regarding the research laboratories of the research institute and "Persian Gulf Explorer" for the familiarization of students, professors and other visitors. In the following, useful information was presented to visitors to the booth on how to use the services, facilities, library and data bank of the research institute. In this booth, while introducing research projects, authored and translated books, scientific-research journals of oceanography and ، Persian GulfBrochures about different departments of the research institute were provided to the visitors. In the end, several volumes of books were presented to the professors and students of marine engineering and economics department of Persian Gulf University, the members of the sea-oriented economics working group and some managers of the research departments of the organizations.
