Report on the activities of the National Ocean and Marine Data Center of the research institute in the research week of 1402

At the same time as Research and Technology Week 1402, the National Oceanic and Marine Data Center of the research institute carried out the following activities.

‏1-‏ Designing, developing and operating the "Integrated Marine Data and Information System" and registering it in the Iran Tech Hub system of the Ministry of Science and Technology Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology and obtaining a technology readiness level score of 8 (from 1 to 9)

This system includes a database of research project data and research institute monitoring programs, as well as metadata information, marine scientific patrols, research project information and statistical data. Through this system, the data center has provided its software products, including applications, websites, atlases and catalogs, for the use of marine researchers. In this system, useful services such as plotting data points on the map, software tools for coordinate conversion and drawing various graphs of parameters are provided for users. ‏2-‏ Obtaining the highest technology readiness level score for "marine data and information software system" among the research institute's technologies

‏3-‏ Holding a training workshop "Introduction to Marine Data and Information System".

‏4-‏ Holding a training workshop "Introduction of national and international marine and oceanic data sources".

It should be noted that in the above workshops, researchers from the Research Institute, Ports and Maritime Organization, Atmospheric and Oceanic Science Center of the National Meteorological Organization, University of Tehran, Khorramshahr University of Marine Sciences and other maritime organizations participated.
