In the meeting of heads of universities and institutions of higher education, research and technology, which was held on Friday 6th of February 1402 in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, in the presence of the Honorable Minister of Science, Research and Technology, the President of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, the President of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences and the President of Nowshahr University of Marine Sciences, Amir Daryadar Shahram Irani was honored.

The Commander of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during his speech, expressed his love for the strategic extension of the Islamic Republic of Iran system, playing a role in the new geometry of global power, and presenting a successful combination in all spheres of authority, as well as presenting the power of will, great courage, self-confidence and self-belief.. expressed as the achievements of the Navy of the Republic of Iran. And in this regard, they made comprehensive references to the unique role of education and research in the maritime and oceanic field and to the capacities used in this field to realize this action. 

Mr. Dr. Zulfigol, the Honorable Minister of Science, Research and Technology, also stated in this regard: the mission of sailing around the globe with the destroyer Dana was a very big action; Living on the ocean for eight months, without providing food and fuel from outside, is a sign that this mission is very knowledge-based, and this is a source of pride and honor for great Iran.
