The second scientific meeting "Description of activities carried out and to come in Antarctica"

 

The second scientific meeting entitled "Description of the activities carried out and to come in Antarctica" will be held by the National Antarctic Research Center of the National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences on Tuesday, March 15, 1402 at 10:00 at the research institute.

According to the research institute's public relations report, in this meeting, which aims to synergize experiences and inform about the activities and programs carried out and being carried out by the National Antarctic Research Center, and with the presence of university officials, researchers and professors, Dr. Pourkhorsandi and Engineer Mahna, Iranian researchers who have experienced a research trip to Antarctica, as well as Dr. Morteza Tawakli, the head of the research center, and Dr. Hossein Farjami, the head of the National Antarctic Research Center, will give speeches. 

It should be noted that in this meeting, topics including: the experiences lived in Antarctica by Iranian scientists will be presented, as well as the news of "the publication of a scientific article on Antarctica in a prestigious international journal by the National Center for Antarctic Research, the formation of the National Strategic Research Committee for Antarctica, and the future plans of the National Center for Antarctic Research."

It is worth mentioning that the first scientific meeting "Explaining research capacities and strategies in Antarctica" was held on November 10, 1402 in the presence of officials, researchers, university professors and students at the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences in order to share experiences, exchange scientific information, and also present strategies for realizing the presence of JA in Antarctica.
