The visit of the vice president of the Atlantic branch of the Shirshov Institute of Oceanography of Russia to the institute

According to the research institute's public relations report، In this meeting and discussion, which was held in the presence of Dr. Morteza Tawakli, the head of the research institute, Dr. Ali Mehdinia, the vice president of research and education, Dr. Abolfazl Saleh, the head of the Ocean Sciences Research Institute, and Mrs. Fahima Foroughi, the director of international cooperation of the research institute, the development of international cooperation, conducting joint scientific projects with Russia, holding specialized training workshops in the field of oceanography, exchange of students and researchers, and conducting joint research tours between the two countries were discussed and investigated. 

Also, the signing of a memorandum of understanding for the expansion of scientific cooperation with the Shirshov Institute of Oceanography of Russia was reviewed, which will be signed after going through the legal procedures of both parties. 

It should be mentioned that at the end of this meeting, the vice president of the Atlantic branch of the Russian Shirshov Institute of Oceanography visited the laboratories, the national centers for forecasting and warning of marine hazards and oceanic and marine data of the research institute.
