Providing the necessary infrastructures for the start of the activity of the growth center in the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences / the need to pay attention to the field of technology 

The Vice President of Technology of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences announced the definition, creation of the necessary infrastructure and the necessary infrastructure to start the activity of the research center in the Caspian Oceanographic Center (Nowshahr) that before this, the in-principle approval for the establishment of the growth center was issued by the Vice President of Technology of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in April of this year.

According to the research institute's public relations report, Dr. Seyyed Masoud Mahmudov stated the goal of creating a growth center in the research institute; Identifying the technological capacities of the country, smoothing the path of growth and shortening  He announced the acceleration of the process of turning science into wealth in the field of marine industries and further emphasized the need to pay attention to the support of technology in marine industries and atmospheric sciences.

While stating that technology is a supplementary step in order to operationalize the results of research and we must direct applied research towards the creation and production of new technologies in the fields of science and various industries, he added: by inviting and attracting technologists and owners of technological ideas in the marine field, we are aiming to be able to activate this growth center in a completely effective manner in line with the growth of various maritime industries in the country.

He stated that the task of the research center is to create a platform and always pave the way for the development and excellence of various marine technologies and said: We are very hopeful that with the welcome of marine technology activists in the country, the center of growth of the research center can find its role well and soon in the country's marine industries and reach its ultimate goal, which is the promotion of marine technology in the country. 

It should be mentioned that the research center of the research center is located in the oceanographic station of the Caspian Sea (Nowshahr) and the head of this center is Dr. Ahmed Manbouhi. 

Regarding the completion of the process of obtaining the license to start the activity of the growth center, Mahmudov said: In this regard, the process of applying for the relevant license was submitted to the Ministry of Defense and the Technology Policy Council, and with a lot of effort and follow-up, it is expected that the license to start operating will be issued soon, and God willing, brilliant results will be realized for the country in the field of marine and oceanic sciences in the future. 

The vice president of technology of the research center stated that the task of the growth center is to provide facilities to guide and transform the technological ideas resulting from the research towards the establishment and establishment of knowledge-based and technological companies and stated: It is expected that by carrying out and implementing an applied research project, the result of that research project  Become a product or a technical idea. It is the responsibility of the growth centers and science and technology parks to help the development and growth of technological ideas and bring them to the sales market and the desired economic efficiency.

Mahmudov expressed the call to attract and identify the owners of technological ideas and real and legal technologists from the programs of the growth center and said: the audience of this growth center is not only the members of the research institute, but the target of all the technologists, companies and idea owners in the sea sector in the country. The research institute previously held a call for technological ideas in the catalyst field in order to improve the quality of the atmosphere and is currently pursuing the construction of equipment and devices in the field of data collection from the sea, which is expected to have a good perspective in the country.

He clarified: After the growth center and its basic requirements are fully established in Nowshahr station and after the necessary evaluations and getting a favorable rating, we plan to expand the activities of the growth center to the southern stations of the country, considering the importance of Makran region and beaches.

Pointing to the creation of the Vice-Chancellor of Technology in the research institute and the definition of incentive policies for the creation of technological projects and ideas for faculty members, he added: Previously, in the field of research, faculty members defined a research plan in their research framework, but with the opinion of the director of the research institute last year, a research related to the field of technology was specifically planned and implemented in the research institute. 

Mahmudov further said: despite the serious determination and rapid movement of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in the development of various science technologies, the need is felt to look at the technological and innovative activities in accordance with the needs of the country in the regulations for the promotion and promotion of faculty members with more importance.  to be Considering the nature of the activities in the field of technology compared to the field of education and research, technological activities are very time superior and their results are faced with greater uncertainty. Therefore, a faculty member active in the field of technology should not worry about his promotion status in the short and long term.
