The presence of the head of the research institute in the international meeting of oceanography in France and the consulate of J.A. to vote

The head of the National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences, who participated in the international event "Oceanology" in Paris, cast his vote for the 14th term of the presidential election at the consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Paris.

According to the research institute's public relations report, Dr. Morteza Tavakoli, who participated in the "Fifty-seventh meeting of the Executive Council of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO" from July 5 to 8, 1403, at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, during this meeting, along with Dr. Ketabchi, Iran's ambassador to UNESCO, appeared at the consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Paris and cast their votes in the box.

It should be mentioned that in this international meeting, Dr. Tavakoli, representing the Islamic Republic of Iran, presented a report on the activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of marine, oceanic and atmospheric sciences.

UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic CommissionIOCIt is considered the most important international institution in the field of oceanic sciences. This commission was established following Resolution 2/31 of the 11th session of the UNESCO General Conference and held its first meeting in UNESCO in Paris from October 19 to 27, 1961, and 40 countries became members of this commission in the same meeting. StructureIOCIt consists of the member countries of the commission and the executive council and the secretariat and a number of sub-committees, and its secretariat is located in Paris, France. The National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences is the national authority of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO, and the head of the institute actively participates in its meetings as the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
