Mazandaran Sea Research and Technology Station organizes: 7 scientific lectures in the Caspian Sea Basin
On the occasion of "Caspian Sea Regional Day", 7 scientific lectures on "scientific studies and research in the Caspian Sea Basin" will be held by the researchers of the Caspian Sea Research and Technology Station (Nowshahr) Research Institute, on Monday, August 22, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
According to the public relations report of the research institute, in these scientific lectures which are held virtually, the members of the scientific faculty based at the station, on the following topics:
- Investigating the origin of Quaternary sediments in the southern part of the Caspian Sea
- Tsunami caused by a possible landslide in the south of the Caspian Sea
- Distribution of hydrogen sulfide and different types of phosphorus and nitrogen in Caspian Sea sediments
- Microplastics in the Caspian Sea
- Spatial and temporal changes of macroalgae bloom in the Caspian Sea
- Nematodes of the Caspian Sea
And nutrients and their interpretation with the help of physical modeling, they give lectures
