Condolence message of research center after the death of Dr. Mohammadreza Benazadeh

The death of the father of Iran's marine sciences, Dr. Mohammad Reza Benazadeh, caused sadness and emotion. Professor Benazadeh was able to bring a rich treasure to the country with more than half a century of efforts and valuable educational and research services in the field of marine sciences and techniques. With his help, many capacities in the field of marine sciences and techniques flourished, among which we can mention the establishment and launch of Noor, Bandar Abbas, Khorramshahr, Kish and Azad University of Tehran.

Undoubtedly, many graduates and managers in the field of marine sciences in the country today are considered to be trained by him. The National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences offers its condolences to the scientific, academic and marine community of Iran, friends and students, and especially to his honorable family, and prays for peace, mercy, and divine grace for the departed professor, and patience and health for the survivors.
