In this regard, the research institute, considering its mission in the direction of developing and promoting oceanic literacy, and on the other hand, considering the widespread use of smart phones in various aspects of daily life, has started to produce an oceanography application, which has a special audience for students and a general audience for the general public. Currently, this application is being developed on the basis of the Android operating system, and after producing its initial version, it will be published to receive feedback from students and experts in the field of education. Sea-oriented development deals with various fields, which is the field of education and research related to the work of the research institute, at the same time, knowing the state of the sea is necessary for policy making and planning.

What is your opinion about the use of modern technology for the port and maritime sector and maritime transport?

The use of modern technologies increases the productivity and efficiency of seafaring and sea transportation. Today, many of the world's advanced ports are connected to intelligent transportation systems (ITS ) is equipped.
