Announcement of the programs of the research institute during the research week
25 scientific, research, educational and promotional programs will be organized by the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences in the research and technology week of 1403.
According to the research institute's public relations report, Dr. Ali Mehdinia, vice president for research and education of the research institute, announced this news: "During the research week of this year, 11 lectures and workshops, 2 field operations on the shores of the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, 6 programs for students to visit the research institute, 2 unveilings of technological products, as well as the introduction of 5 new technological projects, will be organized by the research institute.
He described the research week and the 25th side exhibition of research, technology and market technology as a great opportunity to introduce the achievements of research institutions and centers and said: during this year's research week, the "Oceanographic Atlas of the Caspian Sea" and the "technological product of the deep water sediment corer" will be unveiled as a technological product at the Research Institute and Hall 5 of the Ministry of Defense.
Mehdinia, the technologies registered in Iran's technology assessment system (Iran Tech Hub) in the research institute this year, 5 projects including: "Deep water sediment trap with 9 TRL", "Directional wave recorder system of sea waves with 8 TRL", "Gas separation equipment from sediment and water with 8 TRL", "Manufacturing cosmetics-sanitary products of basic sea with 7 TRL"and "Meteorological model atlasWRFin the Persian Gulf with 7 TRL", introduced.
He also mentioned "conducting field operations to monitor the health status of coral reefs in the Persian Gulf of Chabahar", "cleaning the beaches of Makran", "taking samples from the beaches of Hormozgan province", "participating in the meeting of presidents of coastal universities" as well as attending provincial exhibitions among the upcoming programs at the oceanographic research and technology stations of Bushehr, Hormozgan, Nowshahr and Chabahar, which will be held during the research and technology week.
