A group visit of "Nargis" work and knowledge conservatory students to the research institute

On the eve of research and technology week, a group of students from Narges Girls' College of Work and Science, District 12 of Tehran, visited the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences on Tuesday, December 20, 1403, and got to know closely the field and laboratory activities of the research institute.

According to the public relations report of the research institute, at the beginning of this visit, the students watched the video of field operations and sampling as well as the laboratory activities of the research institute, then the activities of the research institute were explained to the students by the experts and then the questions of the students were answered by the experts.

Considering that one of the components of sea-oriented development is increasing the society's awareness of the marine environment and the strategic importance of the sea and the ocean, and the requirement for this is to increase the "ocean literacy" of the society and especially students, the promotion of marine science and the promotion of ocean literacy are on the agenda of the research institute's promotional activities. 

At the end of this visit, teachers and students visited the laboratories of chemistry, physics, geology and marine biology and were closely informed about the laboratory activities of the research institute.
