The active presence of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences in the 1404 Geomatics Exhibition

The National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences has presented its latest activities and achievements in the field of marine spatial data, numerical modeling and modern oceanographic technologies by setting up a specialized booth at the 29th National Mapping and Geospatial Information Engineering Conference and Exhibition (Geomatics 1404) and the 5th Iran Geo International Exhibition, which was held from November 29 to December 2 at the Tehran International Exhibition Center.

According to the public relations report, during the exhibition, the pavilion of the research institute hosted the visits of officials and senior managers of the country. Mrs. Dr. Mohajerani, the government spokesperson, Mr. Dr. Salarieh, the head of the Iran Space Organization, Mr. Dr. Sidaei, the head of the country's mapping organization, Mr. Amir Fakhri, the head of the Geographical Organization of the Armed Forces, and Mr. Hadavi, the head of the secretariat of the Supreme Council of Marine Industries, were among the personalities who visited the research institute's booth and were informed about the latest scientific and technological achievements of the research institute.

Students, faculty members and conference participants also visited the booth and got acquainted with the research activities and cooperation capacities of the research institute.

During this exhibition, the head of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences along with the head of the Geographical Organization of the Armed Forces attended the unveiling ceremony of the new books of the Geographical Organization of the Armed Forces.

Also, with the interactions that took place, it was possible for the research institute to cooperate with institutions such as the Geographical Organization of the Armed Forces, the Iran Space Research Institute, the Iran Mining House, the National Meteorological Organization, the Supreme Council of Marine Industries and knowledge-based companies active in the field of geomatics, and initial discussions were held to establish communication.
