At the AsiaFlux 2025 international conference, which was held in Indonesia from October 20 to 25, 2025, Mrs. Shirin Hosseinipour, a doctoral student of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences, presented two papers and introduced the scientific achievements of the research institute in the field of water carbon storage and carbon flux in coastal ecosystems.

According to the research institute's public relations report, among other activities that took place in this event, we can mention the participation in LI-COR Environmental Eddy Covariance and Soil Gas Exchange Training Course and How GHG Models Work: Processes, Case Studies, and Platforms.

A visit to the first Eddy Covariance measurement site in tropical swamp ecosystems was conducted among field activities, where researchers were introduced to gas flow monitoring techniques and water and soil resource management.

AsiaFlux is an international network that aims to share data and scientific knowledge in the field of carbon and greenhouse gas fluxes in Asian ecosystems and brings together researchers and experts every year to present scientific achievements and exchange experience.

This partnership is considered an important step in promoting scientific knowledge, exchanging experience with the international community, and developing practical technologies for climate studies and protecting the country's coastal ecosystems.
