Signing of a memorandum of understanding on scientific, research and educational cooperation between the National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences and the University of Science and Culture
On the second day of the exhibition of research achievements, technology and technology market and at the same time as the week of research, a memorandum of understanding on scientific, research and educational cooperation between the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences and the University of Science and Culture was signed on Sunday, December 23, 1404 at the pavilion of the research institute.
According to the public relations report of the research institute, this memorandum was concluded with the aim of establishing communication, coordination and cooperation between the parties, exchanging scientific and research information and holding joint training courses in order to take advantage of the scientific, research and educational capabilities and facilities of the two institutions.
This memorandum was signed by Dr. Saeed Najafi, Vice President of Research and Technology of the National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences and Dr. Ali Saadaleh, Vice President of Research and Technology of Science and Culture University.
According to the provisions of this memorandum, the implementation of joint research projects, exchange of information and scientific achievements, joint effort to establish effective communication with the executive bodies of the country and mutual benefit of research, educational, laboratory and library facilities are on the agenda of the parties.
Also, holding meetings, conferences and joint scientific programs in the field of marine sciences at the national, regional and international levels, as well as the exchange of scientific information resulting from the implementation of research projects, cooperation in marine data management and standardization of databases are other axes of this memorandum.
Among the important axes of this cooperation, we can point out the launch of graduate education courses in maritime fields, which will play an effective role in promoting practical training and training of specialized human resources.
Also, identifying the research needs of the country, prioritizing the fields of cooperation and cooperation in attracting research resources and credits are among the other provisions of this memorandum.
This memorandum is considered an effective step in strengthening the interaction between scientific and academic institutions and developing joint educational and research cooperation.
