Report on the activities of Chabahar Oceanographic Center during the research week

On December 22, 1404, Chabahar Oceanographic Center participated in the Sadra event exhibition, which was held at the Islamic Azad University of Chabahar city with the aim of expanding the relationship between industry, university and employment opportunities. In this exhibition, the research capacities of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences were presented to the respected local officials.

Monitoring of physicochemical parameters of coastal waters of Makran

Monitoring of physicochemical parameters of coastal waters of Makran has been on the agenda of Chabahar Oceanography Center since 2008. These measurements are usually done weekly and include temperature, salinity, electrical conductivity, dissolved oxygen concentration in water and pH. These time series data have made it possible to predict the hydrological changes of the region in the future.

Chabahar beach cleaning campaign 

On 09/24/1404, a beach cleaning campaign was held in the Darya Bozur area with the presence of Chabahar Oceanographic Center colleagues.
