In the joint meeting of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences and the Army Navy, it was discussed: Investigating the ways of joint cooperation for scientific research in the Caspian Sea.
The joint meeting of the president and some members of the scientific staff of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences with the Vice-Chancellor and some officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy was held on Monday 22nd of 1404 at the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences with the aim of examining the areas of joint cooperation in scientific research in the Caspian Sea.
According to the public relations report of the research institute, in this meeting Dr. Ali Mehdinia, the head of the research institute, referring to the records of research patrols conducted by the research institute in the Caspian Sea, pointed out the importance of conducting scientific research in the water basins of the north and south of the country, and referring to the history of cooperation between the navy and the research institute in carrying out joint research activities in the Persian Gulf and the Oman Sea in the form of patrols PGGOOS He called for the continuation of such joint activities.
In addition, Amir Dr. Leshni, Vice President of Naval Education, referring to the costs of the vessels in conducting research patrols, considered it important to focus on the collection of practical data required by various executive departments and emphasized on holding joint expert meetings to conduct research and educational activities.
Collection of meteorological data in research patrols, sharing of data collected by the Persian Gulf probe, cooperation in the field of education and cooperation in providing floats for research patrols were among the things approved by both sides in this meeting.
