Persian Gulf (Bushehr) Research Station (Centre)

Introduction

The Persian Gulf Oceanography Center (Boushehr) is located in Boushehr adjacent to the Persian Gulf. The center is located 2 km off the coast and 1km from the airport. It was established on a 400 square meter plot and 1500 square meter infrastructure in June 2010.

Having a high scientific potential, advanced equipments and labs, the Center is active in providing services for conducting research projects. This Center was built in four floors and includes 4 modern laboratories (physical oceanography, marine geology, marine biology and chemical oceanography labs).

The Persian Gulf Oceanography Center (Boushehr) is active in researches on different fields of oceanography including physical oceanography, marine geology, marine biology, and marine chemistry in the Persian Gulf region.
